It’s never been easier to have fit and install blinds for your windows. With thousands of fabrics to choose from, all you need to do is find your perfect match and follow the simple process to order your blinds. All handmade, just for you in our Cambridgeshire workshop.
What makes these blinds different from the rest? As the name suggests this style blind originated from the Roman Empire some 2,000 years ago. They were originally made as a functional item built from necessity of keeping homes dust free and cool following another famous roman invention; the road.
Since then blinds have become an integral part of many homes, with our bespoke service you can choose your measurements, lining, chain position and colour, installation height and whether you have the blind sit inside or outside the recess.
How do they work?
Roman blinds are made from a single sheet of fabric, which has dowel rods inserted at specific points. By pulling the chain cord the rods lift in sequence gathering the fabric into pleats.
